GOOGLE ADS

Before the ads, let's clarify the goal.

We build campaigns around a sales or lead goal. Ads, landing pages and conversion tracking are parts of the same plan.

OUR APPROACH

Before growing the budget, you need to see what every lira spent turns into.

WHAT WE DO

From measurement to bidding, one account plan.

Google Ads results are usually lost not in the ads but in measurement and account setup. We handle four areas together.

01

Conversion tracking

No optimisation is sound without correctly measuring the action that brings sales, enquiries or calls. We set up and verify measurement first.

  • Google Ads and GA4 conversions
  • Tag Manager setup
  • Form, call and sales tracking
  • Conversion values and priorities
02

Account and campaign structure

We make product, service or region groups manageable separately; each group runs with its own budget and goal.

  • Campaign and ad group setup
  • Separating Search, Performance Max and Display
  • Location and schedule planning
03

Search terms and ads

We read where the budget goes from search term reports, cut irrelevant clicks and match the ad to the search.

  • Negative keyword lists
  • Ad copy and assets
  • Landing page match
04

Bid and budget management

We set the bid strategy to a return or cost goal and shift budget to campaigns that deliver.

  • Target ROAS and target CPA
  • Weekly optimisation
  • Monthly performance report

WHERE WE LOOK FIRST

What we check first when we open the account.

In the accounts we take over, the most common problems usually show up in the same places.

01

Is the measured conversion really a sale?

If weak signals such as page views or clicks count as conversions, the system learns the wrong thing. Separating them is the first job.

02

Where is the budget being spent?

The search terms report shows budget going to searches unrelated to the brand. At Kamaksan we cut irrelevant clicks with this list.

03

Do the ad and the page say the same thing?

If the landing page doesn't deliver what the ad promises, the click is wasted. We handle the ad group and the page together.

ROAS up 2.3x on the same budget

Mission report

The ad budget was spent every month, but it was unclear which campaigns drove sales. The goal was a better return on each lira, not a bigger budget.

  1. We set up and verified conversion tracking so each sales action could be measured.
  2. The account was rebuilt around product groups, each with its own budget and target.
  3. Negative keyword lists from search term reports cut irrelevant clicks.
  4. Ad copy and landing page match were refreshed per product group.
  5. Bidding was set to a return target and tuned weekly.

Without a bigger budget, return on ad spend rose 2.3x and reached 7.9: every lira spent on ads brought back about 7.9 in revenue.

1.8x more enquiries from the same traffic

Mission report

Ads brought visitors, but they left without asking for a quote or information. The issue was not traffic; the site was not turning visitors into enquiries.

  1. Google Ads was rebuilt around leads, with forms and calls tracked as conversions.
  2. Campaigns were split by certificate type, each sending traffic to its own landing page.
  3. Service pages were simplified to answer which certificate, for whom and how long on the first screen.
  4. The quote form got shorter and trust signals such as accreditations and references moved next to it.
  5. Every change was measured before the next step.

The rate at which visitors became enquiries rose 1.8x, so the same ad traffic produced far more leads.

PROCESS

Measurable progress from the first week.

01

Account audit

We review measurement, campaign structure, search terms and recent spend, and rank the losses by importance.

02

Measurement setup

We redefine conversions and verify them with Tag Manager and GA4. We don't change bids until the data is clean.

03

Restructuring

We split campaigns into groups, renew negative lists and ad copy, and match landing pages.

04

Weekly optimisation

We review bids, budget and search terms every week and share the result and the next step in a monthly report.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Before we start.

Can you take over our existing account?

Yes. We take it over without deleting its history. We audit first and decide together what to keep and what to rebuild.

Will we need to increase the budget?

Not always. At Kamaksan, ROAS rose 2.3x without a bigger budget. We first make current spend more efficient and plan growth based on data.

When will results show?

Fixes to measurement and account structure usually show their effect in the first weeks. Bid strategies need a few weeks of data to settle.

Who keeps the ad account?

The account and data always stay in your name. We work with manager access.

Leads or sales: which do you build for?

Your business goal decides. At UKBEM we built the campaigns for enquiries rather than sales and measured forms and calls separately.
